Purple Fingers

I can't say too much about this place. Our friends swore us to secrecy. We love huckleberries.

Bear Lake's North Shore

This is our favorite lake to swim in. It is shallow for a long long ways, so you don't have to worry too much about the kiddos.

Sprinklers are like Heaven in the Yard

Our kids love to play in water when it is hot. Of course Gabe has to do it his way.

Brothers.....

This is what happens when mom gives in. It is so hard to get the middle post of the beater clean without getting goo on your forehead.

First Day

School started for the kids on August 19th. Kaden is in 6th grade, Sadie is in 3rd, Zach is going to start preschool, and Gabe will be so lonely.

Gabe's rooster is gone

People warned me....they said that he would get mean and noisy. I didn't believe it, but it is true. Roosters are good for nothing. Gabe didn't want us to eat him, so Molly found somebody that would trade for a hen. Good trade. Now, we get eggs from her and no more noise. No more Bossy Bob the rooster.

Great Grandad & Grandma

The kids also got to see Great Grandad and Grandma Burt. Kaden worked for Grandad for a couple of days and the rest of the kids went up Saturday for the 24th of July parade. I came up from home on Saturday morning to see the parade with the kids and Molly.

Great Grandpa and the kids

Molly took the kids up to Rexburg and they got to play with Great Grandpa and Great Grandma at the water park. I liked this picture a lot.

Football Season

Kaden is in 6th grade and has started his first season of football. So far practice is going good and his coach has been practicing him at offensive tackle and defensive end. He seems to like defense a little better at this point.

County Fair, SOLD!!

Well, here is some video of Kaden and the Grand Champion goat named Dozer. Kaden was sure sad to see him go, but he'll be happy when the check comes. Thanks to Jim and Grandma Karan and also Grandma and Grandpa Donahoo for coming to support Kaden at the fair.

Grand Champion

Just a quick post. Kaden's goat won Grand Champion in the 4-h market animal program at the Caribou County Fair. Stop by and see "Dozer" in the goat barn if you get a chance. I'll add pics later. Oh, and Kaden also won the showmanship competition.
