Everybody's "MEEN"

So, I walked into Zach's room and found him writing in his notebook. He looked surprised to see me, and I knew something was up. I asked if I could read what he was writing and he said, "but it's not finished yet". Then, knowing that I would read it, he wrote the last sentence.

Zach is in Kindergarten, so it is a little hard to read. It says "Mom and Dad are mean and Kaden and Gabe are mean. But sometimes they're kind of nice."

What a kid.

School

This is the first day. For Zach, it was the first day ever riding the bus. Kaden had to pack school supplies and football gear. Sadie was loaded up too. Gabe had to stay home, but he was there to wave goodbye at the bus.

Agrium Picnic

I know i am getting things out of order, but oh well. This is the annual Agrium family picnic. The kids love it for the rock wall, blow up slides, fishing, food, and free ice cream. This year, the kids got their hair spray painted too. Zach spent a lot of time climbing the rock tower. He was so little up there, but he always made it to the top. Gabe played in the bouncy slide area a lot. Sadie played bingo with mom and avoided the fish pond. Kaden fished and also cleaned fish for a scout fund raiser. He rode in the back of the truck on the way home. We love the Agrium picnic and look forward to it every year.

Wrestling, 2010

Wresting season is over for Kaden now. He had a good year at 105 lbs. He took 1st at the Irving invitational, 1st at the Malad tournament, and 4th at district. This is a picture of Kaden talking to his coach before his final match.

Halloween, 2010

This year, Kaden was too old for costumes, but not too old for facepaint and blue hair. Sadie had several costumes, but finally settled on one for that night. Zach went as a ninja turtle, and Gabe was a crocodile or something.

Maybe they'll sleep better??

I put this on the tv when it was time to clean up the living room. I was thinking that it would reduce the amount of fighting that comes with chores. This is what I saw when I came back 5 minutes later.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Sadie has started learning the violin. She is really excited about it. I would rather hear this choppy version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star than just about any song on the radio.
